Netinstall from update repo

Feature state

openSUSE Distribution

When installing a openSUSE system from an netinstall CD it justs takes all data just out of the OSS repo so it needs an upgrade just after installation.

It would be nicer if it would take the data out of the update repo, to have an installed system which is up-to-date.

Which is really simple two click and a url
Add install contain from other repos, add an update location repository
et voilĂ  ... you will get the latest soft in one run.

Yes, that would work for me. But i guess it also should not be that hard to change in the netinstall image to always use the update repository. That would be a feature, thats why i did a feature request.

I would not recommend doing this by default. Updates are sometimes buggy too, and could install a non-bootable system. Just leave it to the user to tick the right box, it's only two keystrokes or one mouseclick.

Since both can be buggy, I go with the probably less buggy: updated packages. If we cannot trust updates, why are we pushing them to users?

The same way installing from updates can give unbootable system, updating thereafter a vanilla install can too.
