Gnome slab menu bookmarks editable

Feature state

openSUSE Distribution
Rejected Information

Description

Currently the Gnome slab menu applications are not editable.  There is no option to add the application launcher to the desktop or the panel, nor to open the properties for adjusting how it is launched.

User benefit:

To bring the flexibility Gnome is capable of, to the Slab menu. This will help others to see the benefits of it and to consider using it in their own distribution.

Usecase

Cheese sometimes does not work unless the command used is

env LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so cheese

In other situations I would make an application launcher and change the launch command from just "cheese" to shis whole line so it would work. This command was also recommended for Skype.

*please note, this webcam is listed on the UVC Webcam list as supported and in Ubuntu and Fedora it has been detected and work with Cheese without any manual modifications.
