Description

I'm searching for a on-the-fly encryption for my /home/ partition. Maybe its a good feature for openSUSE itself?

What do you mean with "on-the-fly"? We already have crypto partition support for openSUSE and I consider this done.

I want to encrypt the folder /home/patrick/SECURE and his subfolders. If I want to access the folder, I want to get a passwort promt. Or maybe the encryption starts with the KDE logon. After entering the password or logon KDE, the partion should be accessible with Dolphine as a normal folder.

But maybe this is possible with mounting a encrypted partion to /home/patrick/SECURE. I will try it.

Sounds like going in the direction of pam_mount.
