WLAN Driver for eeePCs

When you are using openSUSE on an eeePC, only unencrypted and WEP Networks are working, because of Asus using a special Version of the Ateros WLAN chipset. You can fix this by installing the Kernel, provided at the end of
this thred .


  • Try 11.2 on eeePCs with Ateros WLAN chipset. Connect to encrypted (WPA/WPA2) network.

This is already in staging, and should be working in the 11.2 milestone releases.

If not, please file a bug.
