Auto-Reset the screen settings in gnome-display-properties

Feature state

openSUSE-11.2
Done

Description

The "Bildschirmeinstellungen"(~screen settings, don't know the name in the english version, the little Monitor in the Gnome panel, where you can set the screen solution and the frequenzy) should reset the settings after 30 or 15 seconds automatically, if you don't press save. Like in Windows or SaX2. It would avoid much trouble if you choose the wrong settings.
I found it. It's the gnome-display-properties tool

Testcase

  • Call gnome-display-properties and choose random (doesen't matter, but not the one you have right now) resolution
  • Then don't push anything and wait for the automatic reset (~30 seconds).
